Ron Salazar
I have been a Spiritual Seeker all my life. I was raised Catholic and found comfort and discomfort as my spiritual maturation progressed growing up. At age 32, in 1988, I found the 12 Step spiritual Path. Through the 12 Step Path, I discovered my spirituality and the power within it.
I found Unity in 1999 and became a Licensed Teacher in Nov. 2012. As part of the path in becoming a Licensed Teacher, I earned a BA in history from the University of California at Berkeley.
Through this spiritual maturation process, I have come to know how to lead people through sacred moments and ceremonies in their lives. I am a confident inspirational public speaker and enjoy creating and taking people through spiritual ceremonies.
Ron’s Coupleship
My wife, Kay, and I have been together for over 20 years and married for 18 years. We have been part of a spiritual couples fellowship since 1992. I see our Coupleship as a spiritual pathway to our Higher Power.
I have experienced in our marriage not only growth as a partner, but also as an individual.
Because I have experienced the joys, growth, and the trials that come with being in a long term committed marriage, I understand the level of sacredness and commitment that is represented by the Marriage Ceremony, and it is this understanding, that I bring to the ceremony.
Unity Experience
I am a Licensed Unity Teacher and have attended many weddings, been in a marriage for 18 years, taken part in weddings and performed wedding ceremonies. I understand how important the nature of your commitment to another person is and want to help you express that on your special day. I see the ceremony as a very important touchstone in a couple’s life together. Your ceremony should reflect your personality, values, romanticism and dreams.
As a Licensed Unity Teacher and Wedding Officiant and after many years of Spiritual Study in Western and some Eastern paths, and 12 Step recovery, I have a heartfelt respect for all spiritual paths and cultural traditions including folks who walk the LGBT path and will collaborate with you to provide a wedding that will reflect the uniqueness you both bring to your marriage. It is my joy to create with you a deeply personal wedding ceremony that will become a memory to cherish for a lifetime.

We address physical, mental, and emotional needs through affirmative prayer and spiritual education. We serve those who seek inspiration and prayer support, as well as those who use Unity teachings as their primary path of spiritual growth.
We believe that all people are created with sacred worth, and we strive to reach out to all who seek support and spiritual growth. Therefore, we recognize the importance of serving all people in spiritually and emotionally caring ways.
